Adam Dodek Adam Dodek (Resource Specialist)

Biography:
Adam Dodek is chief of staff to the Honorable Michael Bryant, attorney general of Ontario. Prior to assuming this position in July 2005, he served as Minister Bryant's Director of Policy. He received a Fulbright Scholarship to study Israeli constitutional law while clerking at the Supreme Court of Israel. Dr. Dodek was called to the California bar in 1996 and practiced law there for two years before returning to Canada. He clerked for the Honorable Madame Justice L'Heureux-Dubé at the Supreme Court of Canada before being called to the Ontario bar in 2001. Between 2001 and 2003, Dr. Dodek worked as a litigation lawyer in Borden Ladner Gervais LLP's Toronto office in the Public Law Working Group. He was an executive member of the Ontario Bar Association's Constitutional Law and Civil Liberties Section and, together with Debra McAllister, edited The Charter at Twenty: Law and Practice 2002. Dr. Dodek received his B.A. from McGill University, Montreal; his J.D. from Harvard Law School, Cambridge Massachusetts; and is an S.J.D. candidate in comparative constitutional law at the University of Toronto.
