Colin MUNRO was a member of the Diplomatic Service of the United Kingdom from 1969 to 2007. He served mainly in central, eastern and southeastern Europe, specializing in security policy, arms control and human rights. He was deputy head of mission in East Germany when the Berlin Wall fell, Ambassador to Croatia, the international community's deputy high representative in Mostar, Bosnia and Hercegovina, and UK permanent representative to the OSCE. Now he is a consultant to the OSCE and the International Organisation for Migration. He is also a Rotarium and Trustee of Accord International, which supports the Mostar Sinfonietta. He is a graduate of Edinburgh University and King's College London. Mr. Munro is an alumnus of the Salzburg Global Seminar Session 247, Changing Patterns in European-American Relations, 1986.
