Biography:
Martin Wolf (Co-Chair) is associate editor and chief economics commentator at The Financial Times, London. He has been with the FT since 1987, first as chief economist lead writer and subsequently as associate editor and chief economics commentator. Prio to joining the FT, Mr. Wolf held the position of director of studies at the Trade Policy Research Centre in London for six years, and senior economist at the World Bank for ten years. He is a visiting fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford University, and a special professor at the University of Nottingham. In addition, Mr. Wolf has been a Forum Fellow at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos since 1999, and was awarded the Commander of the British Empire in 2000 for services to financial journalism. Mr. Wolf obtained an MPhil in economics from Oxford University.
