Biography:
Michael KRIMMINGER is partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York. He formerly served as general counsel and as special advisor to the chairman and deputy to the chairman for policy at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Mr. Krimminger is the co-chair of the Basel Committee’s Cross Border Resolutions Group, representing the FDIC on the Financial Stability Board’s Resolution Steering Group and other bodies. He received a J.D. from Duke University of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Duke Law Journal. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina. Mr. Krimminger is a member of the Bars in California, Virginia, and Washington DC.
