Velma Monteiro-Tribble is executive liaison for programs at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan, where she assists the senior vice president for programs with leadership, management, and administrative responsibilities for the Foundation's programming efforts, and serves as the key internal and external liaison for ongoing programming efforts. Previously, Ms. Monteiro-Tribble worked with the leadership team to advance the philosophy, mission, and goals of the Foundation and assisted in implementing a strategic plan for infusing leadership theory and practice throughout all Foundation activities. Before joining the Kellogg Foundation, Ms. Monteiro-Tribble was vice president for the National Association for Community Leadership in Indianapolis, Indiana. She served as spokesperson for the Association, managed support for the group, and was responsible for all systems related to fundraising, marketing and communication, financial procedures, research, and educational programming. Ms. Monteiro-Tribble received a bachelor's degree in English from Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She served as a faculty resource specialist at Salzburg Seminar Session 382, Youth and Civic Participation: Models for Engagement, 2000.
