Biography:
Adrian SHERMAN, is director of the Office of International Education and Programs at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, USA. His work involves the development and coordinating of international exchange and travel study programs, promoting faculty exchange, and recruiting international students. Dr. Sherman's teaching interests encompass diverse aspects of psychology and interdisciplinary courses on sustainable development and the environment. He is the former director of the Office of International Programs for Ithaca College, New York; and former Dean of International and Travel Programs at Tusculum College, Greeneville, Tennessee. He is a member of National Association of Foreign Student Advisors (NAFSA): Association of International Educators, Washington, DC. Dr. Sherman holds a Ph.D. in health psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is an alumnus of Salzburg Seminar Session 404, The Politics of Water - Addressing Fresh Water Scarcity, 2002; and Freeman Foundation Symposium 6, East Asia-The United States: A Search for Common Values, 2003.
